Moisture was entering a crawlspace in East Saint Louis, IL, causing several issues. The environment was becoming damp, a musty smell was spreading into the house, and mold was beginning to grow. The support posts were also rotting, causing the beams to shift. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was first installed. Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls and floors of the basement. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick, durable plastic moisture barrier that is secured in place over the foundation walls and dirt floors in the crawl space. It prevents moisture from entering the crawlspace and guides it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. CleanSpace is mold resistant and gives the crawl space a cleaner and brighter appearance.

A crawlspace in Millstadt, Illinois, had some humidity that was seeping up into the home above it and needed to be sealed off.
