Sagging floors and a musty crawl space plagued this home in New Berlin, Illinois.  Woods Basement Systems installed the SmartJack post support system and sealed the crawl space with the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system.

Homeowners in New Berlin, IL had moisture in their crawl space and needed it sealed.  Woods Basement Systems installed the CleanSpace Basement Wall System into their crawl space.  This system provides a vapor barrier for the walls and floor around the crawl space to drain wall leaks and stop the water vapor from permeating the walls.  The barrier also adds a clean and bright atmosphere to the area.  The homeowners were excited to finally have a clean and dry home for years to come!

A crawlspace in Berlin, Illinois, needed some stabilizing due to a couple failing floor joists. Woods came in and installed the PushPier System. This system consists of steel beams that are custom fit. Not only do they re-stabilize the crawlspace, but they can also be tightened over time. This feature allows sagging floors to be lifted as the ground soils continue to shift. Thanks to this install, this crawlspace will remain supported for years to come.

Support beams in a crawlspace were failing in Catron, MO, as they were rotting and shifting. To solve this issue, the SmartJack System was installed. These steel support systems can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in the crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all!

BEFORE: Water found its way into this Sparta, Illinois crawl space. Standing water and the humidity from it began to negatively affect the insulation and integrity of the home.

AFTER: Woods Basement Systems installed a waterproofing system with a sump pump as well as a dehumidifier. This crawl space is now completely dry and maintains a humidity level below 60%—which helps control mold and create a drier, healthier, more energy-efficient space.
