CleanSpace reduced the amount of humidity that was in this crawl space and kept it looking clean and brand new.  CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner, similar to a pool liner, that is fitted into a crawl space to completely seal a home from the dirt floor below.  It is puncture and tear resistance, and is incredible durable.  It also includes an antimicrobial additive called "UltraFresh" manufactured into the material to prevent mold growth.  The liner is sealed around obstructions such as the Crawl Space support we see in the picture here.  The crawl space is now a clean dry space ready to be used for storage!

This dirty, wet crawl space was cleaned up and waterproofed with Woods' CleanSpace vapor barrier. First our crews remove any standing water, repair any damaged structures, and install new insulation. Then our CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed to keep out any moisture, mold, critters, and other allergens. This product transforms any crawl space into a dry, clean, energy-efficient part of the house.

Crawlspace support blocks were shifting in Blue Mound, IL, and the floor beams were rotting. To solve these issues, the SmartJack System was installed. These steel support systems can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in the crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all!
