Carey of Mt. Zion, Illinois had a moist, dirty crawl space that needed to be repair, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help. Systems design specialist, Gregory B. recommended installing a Twin Pack pump, a CleanSpace encapsulation system, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.

Foreman, James L. installed the products. The Twin Pack pump includes two stainless steel pumps that are placed at different levels to help protect against flooding and leaks. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier made of inorganic materials, so it does not support mold growth. It helps to seal off a crawl space form dirt, critters, and moisture. The Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier works to keeps your crawl space dry by keeping moisture out.

Lisa and Greg P. of Shelbyville, Illinois wanted to have their crawl space sealed. Recently, they had noticed a smell coming from the space, leading up into their home. It was also very damp and wet in the crawl space causing future problems for their home. After talking with a neighbor that had similar problems, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Woods came out to the home to seal the crawl space, getting rid of the smell and moisture in the space. They installed a UltraSump sump pump, a polyethene membrane with our CleanSpace liner on top to seal the space from the earth, as well as adding IceGuard outside of the home with an extended discharge line.  

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Shelbyville, IL, causing the atmosphere to become damp and musty. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. This crawlspace will remain dry and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Mary E is worried about the support in her crawlspace. It seems to be failing, causing multiple problems in the house. The floors are sloping, and cracks are appearing in the ceiling and walls. 

Michael R and his crew installed The SmartJack System to support the beams and joists in the crawlspace. This will resolve the problems in the house, such as the sloping floors and the cracks. A CleanSpace liner was also installed to isolate the crawlspace from the earth. This will also prevent water vapor from entering, keeping the crawlspace clean and dry. Mary can now relax knowing her crawlspace is stabilized!

Support blocks in a crawlspace located in Altamont, Illinois were starting to fail and needed a solution. To fix this issue, Woods installed The SmartJack System. This system consists of galvanized steel beams that replace the support blocks to better support the floors and frame above. The SmartJack System also addresses unstable foundation soil by creating a solid base of engineered fill on which to set the SmartJacks on top of. Thanks to Woods and the SmartJack System, this crawlspace will remain securely supported for decades to come!
