In Tolono, Illinois homeowners Jon and Aimee E. wanted a solution to their damp and smelly crawlspace. Like many other homeowners, they didn’t have much insulation in their crawlspace, causing damp and musty air in from the exposed earth to enter their crawlspace, and eventually their home. Unsure of what to do, they called Woods Basement Systems to find the perfect solution to their crawlspace problem.

We sent our foremen Justin Gunn and his team out to their home to seal their crawlspace from the earth, using several of our products including UltraSump, CleanSpace, and Vent Covers. Once the crawlspace is completely sealed, these homeowners will have a dry, clean space to store items and not have to worry about their home smelling like their crawlspace.

Mark and Mitzi W., Champaign, Illinois homeowners, were frustrated with their musty, moldy crawlspace. System design specialist Kevin E. designed a solution to keep their crawlspace dry and mold-free.

CleanSpace was installed by Josh B. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier, so it keeps the basement dry. It is inorganic, so it does not support mold growth. Mark and Mitzi can breath easily knowing they have a dry crawlsprace free of mold.

John of Champaign, Illinois found that he had a musty, wet crawl space and wanted to find a solution. So, he called Woods Basement Systems and system design specialist, Gregory B. recommended CleanSpace was the solution that fit the customer's needs.

Foreman, James L. installed the CleanSpace system. The system is made of a vapor barrier which is inorganic material, meaning it is resistant to mold. CleanSpace is used to guide water out of a basement or crawl space in order for that area to stay dry. 

Now John T. no longer has to worry about his wet crawl space and can fully enjoy his home.

In Champaign, Illinois homeowner Dan N. wanted a way to seal the crawlspace in his home. He began to notice that the floor above the crawlspace was sinking in and a smell coming from the space. He heard from a friend who had gotten his crawlspace sealed and waterproofed by Woods Basement Systems that he is now able to use the space for storage and it no longer effects the home above. Because of this, Dan finally decided to call Woods.

We sent our foreman Dwayne M. and his team out to the home to seal the crawlspace once and for all. They used our patented CleanSpace liner, which is a thick durable liner (similar to a pool liner) to cover the flooring and walls of crawlspace. Now, Dan has peace of mind knowing his crawlspace is sealed and waterproofed.

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Champaign, IL, creating a damp and humid environment.
