Home owner in LaPorte, was complaining of water dampness wicking through walls of the Michigan Basement. Nova Basements installed a Cleanspace vapor barrier on the basement walls. The homeowner is extremely happy with the wall coverings and the professionalism of Nova Basement.

This customer was experiencing water seepage throughout their entire basement.  They also wanted the overall look of the basement improved.  

Our System Design Specialist, Hollis DeWitt, responded to their inquiry. Hollis decided the best solution was to install a perimeter of WaterGuard®, a TrenchDrain®, A TripleSafe™Sump Pump, five UnderGround Downspouts, and a perimeter of EmeShield®.  

Our foreman, Dan Hersom with his crewmen Dylan, Bryan, and Dakota took just four days to transform the wet basement into a dry and healthy living space.  

We installed a Flangeless WaterGuard system along the perimeter of this basement because the concrete floor overlapped the footing about 1-2".  This kind of system is designed to alleviate water under the floor, and can catch any water coming down the wall with the Cactus Board flashing.  

We installed a six foot section of WaterGuard and an AprilAire Dehumidifier in this Kentland, Indiana home.  

This Dyer, Indiana crawlspace was experiencing seepage along a poured wall in several locations.  Not only did he wish to correct that issue, he also wanted to insulate the crawlspace walls to help with energy costs.
