Basement Transformation in Owensboro, KY

A home in Owensboro, KY, wanted to transform its dingy basement into a livable place to stay. The floors and walls of the basement contained mold that needed to be removed before it caused health issues for the homeowner. Mold grows on wet organic materials that reproduce and send off airborne spores and then land on other wet organic surfaces to grow. The basement had a musty smell that was contributed by the spores. The homeowner was excited to see the results!

Mold remediation was performed to create a healthy environment to live and breathe in. Once the mold was taken care of, it was easy to finish the basement! A SuperSump and WaterGuard system was installed to remove any water that enters the basement that would otherwise create humidity and mold. New paneling was installed to give the basement a "finished" look. EverLast, the new paneling, does not contain drywall; it will not grow or be damaged by water. The homeowner was thrilled to have an amazing, healthy space without worrying about their health

Finished Basement in Mount Vernon, IN

Having a waterproofed basement is great but a finished basement is even better! In Mount Vernon, Indiana, a homeowner wanted to take advantage of the extra space she had in her basement. Before finishing the basement, it needed to be waterproofed so that rainwater would not leak inside and ruin the finished basement. She had always dreamed of the space being a special hangout room for family and friends and wanted our help to accomplish that goal.

To begin that process, the drainage system such as the WaterGuard was installed to keep water inside the system and direct it towards the new TripleSafe sump pump. Once the waterproofing project was completed, it was time to create a finished space. The Everlast Wall Restoration was put on. The top half of the walls are EverLast panels that are cement boards with a washable, vinyl finish. The bottom half is considered the wall restoration. New flooring was put in, wrapping up the end of the job. The transformation left the homeowner astonished and excited for an extra space that will add value to her home.

Finished Basement Wall Panels in Bicknell, IN

Homeowner from Bicknell, IN, previously had Healthy Spaces install a perimeter drain in his basement a few years back. He was now ready to see about getting his basement finished.

System Design Specialist, Chris, worked with him to design the perfect finished space he had been envisioning. Together they decided that Healthy Spaces would install our finished basement wall panels called EverLast. What makes these wall panels so great is they're specifically designed for basement environments! They cannot be damaged by moisture and will not support mold or mildew growth. This makes them completely different from drywall since it supports mold growth, will damage from moisture, and will lose insulation value when wet. The EverLast Basement Wall Panels are a cement board, covered with a textured washable vinyl finish, and the trim is all plastic, all installed over metal studs.

Kids accidentally draw on your newly finished walls? No problem, these EverLast wall panels can be washed or wiped down!
