Homeowners in Southport, Maine reached out wanting to learn their options to waterproof and insulate the crawl space beneath their home. Spray Foam insulation is also water and mold resistant, making it a great option for crawl spaces. No more moldy and drooping fiberglass insulation! We also encapsulated the crawl space with drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier liner. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to control the humidity in the space, ensuring the air stays dry.

This specialized matting is designed to create a gap between the floor and the mat, allowing water to flow freely underneath and directing it to a drainage system. Homeowners in Boothbay, Maine recently reached out for help with repairing their wet crawl space. We installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier with drainage matting, which work together to control groundwater and seal moisture out of the crawl space. CleanSpace is an inorganic material, so the vapor barrier liner also prevents mold growth, keeping the crawl space protected and healthy. Spray Foam insulation was installed along the top of the crawl space walls and rim joists, providing immediate energy efficiency improvements for the home. The crawl space is now dry, healthy, and the owners can safely utilize the space without worry of water and mold damage.
