A Kennebunk, ME homeowner had contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems years prior for an estimate to waterproof their basement. After holding off on the repairs and dealing with more years of water headaches, they decided to schedule the installation with System Design Specialist Peter F. We installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and connected it to a new TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard captures and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup in the event of power loss. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard.

Homeowners in Standish, ME had dealt with water intrusion for years and they were frustrated and tired of trying to manage the leaks. We first installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system that collects water and directs it directly to the TripleSafe sump pump system. We also added BrightWall panels around the basement, a durable wall system that seals out moisture. BrightWall is easy to clean, and also helps prevent mold growth. 

This homeowner in Mexico, Maine needed a vacation in Mexico after they discovered water coming through the floor of their basement. Wanted to fix the issue, the homeowner reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Sam met with the homeowner and put together a plan to keep their basement dry all of the time and make the space usable. To do this Sam designed a full system that would protect the home for its lifetime. 

Starting with some debris removal, the production team installed Drainage Matting and WaterGuard to channel water to a Triple Safe Sump System that will move it far from the house through a buried Discharge Line where it will no longer be an issue. A couple of SmartJacks were added for additional support and once the new Slab is poured, the homeowner will be able to use their basement for the first time. 

A homeowner from Raymond, ME reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems with a leaky basement problem in the unfinished portion of their space, and they did not want it to affect the finished area. Due to the cracks and water intrusion, we poured a new concrete slab, with slab WaterGuard. WaterGuard captures and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard. Next, to brighten up the interior of the basement and provide a layer covering the cold concrete walls, BrightWall panels were installed around the entire basement. BrightWall is a durable, easy to clean panel system that never discolors. Finishing out the full waterproofing system was the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
