This homeowner in Marshfield, MA was noticing that the floor in their home was beginning to slope. This is usually a result of the structural integrity of the crawl space beneath the floor failing. After taking a look, our inspector Michelle came up with a solution that would fix the support of the crawl space and reverse the existing damage that has already begun. On installation day, our foreman Kervin and his crew installed our SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizer system. The SmartJacks are strong beams made of galvanized steel that provide support to failing structures, they can also be adjusted to lift failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original position. Along with the SmartJacks, our crew also encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to ensure that the space isn't affected by any moisture going forward. Now the homeowner can feel confident in the structural integrity of their home and the conditions of their crawl space.

A homeowner in Wareham, MA gave us a call because one of the walls in their basement had cracks and was bowing inward. They were also dealing with water making its way into the basement during heavy rainfall so when our inspector, David, went to the home he drew up a solution that would fix both the foundation and water issues. On installation day, our foreman, Julius, and his crew started with waterproofing the basement. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement floor to collect groundwater and our TripleSafe sump pump was installed to send all of the water out of the home. For the foundation issues, the crew installed CarbonArmor in four areas along the unstable foundation wall. CarbonArmor is carbon fiber sheets and epoxy molding together to stabilize and repair the cracked, bowing wall. Once the CarbonArmor is dry, the wall will no longer move or endure settling issues. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is waterproof and foundation is structurally sound!

This customer from North Falmouth, MA wanted to fix his sagging floor above the crawl space. The floor joists below had weakened over time because of so much moisture getting in this space. So we killed 2 birds with 1 stone by raising and stabilizing this floor using our SmartJack floor support system and then we fully encapsulated the floor with CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent moisture seepage! Our inspector, Jake, went to the home and drew up a solution to fix it's structural issues. SmartJacks, and the supplemental beams that the crew also installed, are made of galvanized steel so they don't rust or rot over time like wood and metal. SmartJacks stabilize the sloping floors and can even be lifted to reverse the sloping that has already occurred. Now the homeowner will no longer have to listen to their floors creaking and they can rest easy knowing their home is structurally sound again!
