A home in Muskegon was having issues with its foundation walls in the basement. We drove to the home and gave a free inspection of the home.  After inspection, we decided to install our advanced Wall Anchor system. We install these by digging a tiny hole in that are a few feet away from the home. Then we drill a steel rod through a 1 inch hole in the basement wall. After that, the rod connects to an anchor that is placed in the hole of the soil. Once we place the plates on afterwards, we have permanently stabilized the basement. So now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about an unsafe basement ever again.

 We were called to this Muskegon home due to the home sinking. The homeowner wanted a fix because the windows were sticking, there were cracks on the outside of the home, and the floor was sloping towards the sinking side of the house. We knew just the product to help secure their home and keep it from moving. We installed Helical Piers which transfer the weight of the foundation/structure to the pier that is rooted into hard stable soil. These piers stabilize the home and can also lift the foundation back to the original level. Amy was encountering many different issues in her basement, especially bowing walls. Therefore, she called our team to help her turn her basement into a liveable and safe space. In order to stabilize the walls our team installed CarbonArmor, a wall reinforcing system. CarbonArmor fixes damaged or bowing walls which are both very serious problems and can cause even more serious problems if they aren't fixed properly. Zachary’s Muskegon home began to show signs of a foundation issue a few years ago. Now, the floor joists were sagging so bad that the rest of the house, including the roof, was starting to sag, crack, and bow. Zachary called Ayers for an inspection. Our crew determined that he would need SmartJacks in the crawl space to stabilize the foundation. 

SmartJacks are steel supports that balance the foundation of the crawlspace, lifting it to its original position. They can be adjusted so the home will never shift out of place and are anchored into the ground with poured concrete. 

Our crew completed the project quickly and Zachary was more than happy with the work provided by Ayers. He was so relieved to finally get this project taken care of. 

The owners of this condominium complex knew something was very wrong when water started entering two of the condos, doing damage to both the drywall and the carpet. After redoing the landscaping to divert water from the foundation was unsuccessful, they feared they had a crack in the foundation. This indeed was the problem, but it wasn’t one that our team couldn’t remedy. Our solution was to excavate the dirt surround the foundation to prep it for the application of SentrySeal to seal the cracks in the foundation. Additionally, our team installed a sump pump and drain tile to ensure that from now on, water is rerouted away from the foundation, preventing leaks.
