Home in Grand Rapids, MI Receives Waterproofing System
Dennis and Jeni recently purchased a 1931 home in Grand Rapids, MI. During their home inspection, some key inspection points were missed, and unfortunately, after moving in, they experienced basement water seepage. Dennis and Jeni decided to call Ayers to discuss available solutions. After inspection, Ayers determined that a waterproofing system was necessary. A triple-safe sump pump was installed to pump out the extra water, and our water guard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to capture all access water and drive it to the sump pump. In addition, our CleanSpace was secured around the wall to provide a moisture barrier and a cleaner finish. Dennis and Jeni's home is now dry.
90's Egress Window Gets an Update
A 1992 home needed an update for its egress window. The original egress was dated, drafty, retained water close to the home, and lacked a proper exterior covering. Our foreman swiftly went to work and installed a replacement window, a galvanized steel well, and an exterior window cover. The customers were relieved knowing they wouldn't have to worry about water seeping in through the window anymore.

Egress Window Provides Escape Plan for East Lansing Basement
A new homeowner in East Lansing, MI, wanted to enhance their recently purchased property by installing an egress window. Before the installation, the basement felt cramped and lacked natural light, making it less inviting. More importantly, the absence of an egress window posed safety concerns in the event of a fire, limiting escape routes.
We installed an egress window to address these issues, transforming the basement into a more functional and brighter space. This upgrade provides an emergency escape plan and adds valuable living space to the home. The homeowners can now enjoy a safer, more welcoming basement that enhances their new property's overall value and comfort.
