Egress Window Makes Basement Safer for Edwardsburg, MI Homeowner

Gene was looking into getting an egress window mainly for safety purposes. He saw that Ayers sold Egress Windows so he decided to make the call. We had our customer care team set up an appointment and we went forward with the installation!

The benefits of Egress Windows are plentiful. First off, they provide the quick and easy exit option he was looking for in emergency situations. They are also much larger than typical basement windows which means more natural light and fresh air will fill the room. Installing an Egress Window will even add value to the home in the long run and is especially nice if he is looking to finish his basement. We also installed a lid cover to prevent debris and water from filling the well, keeping it well protected for longer.

Gene was happy to make his home safer and more attractive!

Montague, MI Basements Gets the Full Ayers Treatment

Sometimes a crack in your foundation is just a crack. But more often than not, it's a sign that something much bigger is wrong.

This time, it was the latter. We were called for a foundation repair but discovered that much more work was needed, and the homeowner decided to just take care of everything in order to ensure that the basement stays dry all the time, rather than try to fix problems as they arose.

We installed WaterGuard (pictured) with LawnGuard outlets, a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry dehumidifier, the WellDuct window well drainage system, and power braces to strengthen the structure of the basement.

Whitehall, MI, Basement, Dried Up by TripleSafe Sump Pump

Charles noticed he had water leaking into his basement and running all over the floor. He wasn't sure why, so he researched his options and called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solution. We sent a team of specialists to visit his home and evaluate the situation. They recommended installing TripleSafe, the three-in-one sump pump designed to combat pump failure. TripleSafe includes a primary, a backup, and a battery-powered pump in case of power outages. Charles feels prepared for the next storm!

Upgrading to a SuperSump in Berrien Springs, MI

We had been in talks with the owners of this University property since last December. After months of passing the proposal up the chain, the job was finally approved. The main concern was the regular leaking of the basement walls. For any basement waterproofing, one of the key aspects is a sump pump system. The hole shown in the before photo is an open sump that was installed in the home previously. It wasn’t able to keep up with the heavy water load that was regularly flowing into the home. After talks with one of the system design specialist, the owners decided on one of our most reliable sump pump systems, the SuperSump.

Seen in the after photo, the SuperSump is capable of discharging over 2,000 gallons of water per hour and has an optional backup pump that will keep water out even if the power goes out. Also, unlike the previous sump, the SuperSump comes equipped with a lid to keep out any type of debris that could clog the system. With the SuperSump and several other waterproofing products included in this installation, this basement won’t have to worry about leaking walls again.

Basement Water Problems in Bangor, MI

Thelma needed to get rid of the water entering her basement so she called our team. We installed SuperSump in addition to some other systems. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System can handle high pumping demands better than normal sump pumps. In addition, it will alert you when water levels are too high and has an airtight lid to prevent any unwanted moisture or pests from entering.
