Odors were drifting from her crawl space into Cheri’s home, so she called our team for help. We insulated her rim joists in order to completely seal off her crawl space. Small cracks and seams can exist around rim joists, but after insulating them all of those cracks are sealed off. With airtight insulation there is a reduction in heat loss. Therefore, this customer will save on their heating and cooling bills and prevent any odor from entering their home.

Our customer’s wood sub-floor had begun to grown mold. The home was built in the 1980’s and had been exposed to moisture. We decided to install our durable plastic clean space liner to prevent mold growth and our Thermal Dry Floor. The liner is made of inorganic material that does not allow mold growth to prospers.

Ed was one of those customers who was looking to use our crawl space repair services. His crawl space was covered in debris and foam insulation, hardly a place you’d want to crawl in. While Ed wasn’t too worried about floods, he did see the value of a more energy efficient crawl space, so he opted for our Ultimate Energy Saver combo. The combo replaced his debris covered crawl space with a fresh, white plastic liner called CleanSpace vapor barrier. The plastic is super durable, so the encapsulation will keep on looking new even after repeated use. SilverGlo walls were also a part of the combination. Since SilverGlow walls are designed to reflect heat back into the crawl space, they're made of a highly reflective silver that made this crawl space look amazing. 

The newly encapsulated crawl space will keep on looking great and saving this house money for years to come; and even though it wasn't his reason for calling, Ed got a complete waterproof system out of the deal too.

Homeowners in Newaygo, MI were looking to clean their mold and dirt filled crawl space once and for all. Mold-X was used to clean out the space and stop mold and bacteria growth on the walls and ceiling. CleanSpace, the white liner shown in the after photo, was installed to act as a vapor barrier in order to keep moisture out of the crawl space. 

Fred and Caroline have tried many DIY methods to waterproof their basement. Walking downstairs and seeing water on the floor AGAIN, was the final straw. They called Ayers for an inspection and we determined that WaterGuard would work best to waterproof their home. 

WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation . It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. 

Fred and Caroline were so glad to have their lives back and grateful they never have to worry about a wet basement again.
