Our customer wanted to sell a home that was passed down from her father, but wanted to increase the value. She called Ayers for an inspection and our crew determined that some new and improved basement windows would accomplish the customer's goal. 

Our EverLast basement windows are designed to help make your home more energy efficient and safe. They are framed with vinyl, instead of the more common metal or wood, so it won't rust or rot. They have a tight seal so unwanted drafts of air and rain are unable to get in the home. 

The customer was ecstatic to be able to get a little bit more when selling the home, and we home the new homeowners love them too!

Barbara was looking for exterior solutions for her discharge lines so she called Ayers for professional help. After a free inspection was conducted it was determined she needed IceGuard and LawnScape Outlet. With IceGuard this will prevent the freezing or clogging of the exterior discharge lines with its antifreeze fitting that has slotted openings that eject water away from the foundation. Then LawnScape Outlet was added to the end of the line as an underground extension that blends into the yard and expels downspout water.

Barbara was glad to make her home safer with these installations to her discharge lines!

Matt wanted to create more space for his children in his Marshall, MI, home near the Kalamazoo River, but safety was his top priority. He contacted Ayers for a professional egress window installation before moving his eldest daughter into a downstairs bedroom. Our team installed a waterproof egress window with a galvanized well, escape ladder, and secure cover to ensure safety and protection from the elements. Homeowners in Vermontville, MI kept their crawl space clean and organized but were still fighting a battle to keep it dry. With unfinished wood walls and dirt floors, moisture was soaking in and causing puddles to form that could eventually lead to mold.

CleanSpace, a white, durable liner, was brought in to seal moisture out of the crawl space. This liner acts as a vapor barrier preventing any water or humidity from passing through. Its mold resistant properties will keep any mildew and rot away as well as pests, insects, and smelly odors.  

The customer called us in dire need of a solution for his leaking basement walls. Heavy rains and outside water pressure had made the problem worse.

We installed WaterGuard® in the entire basement to collect seeping water from their basement walls and drain it into the sump pump. As an added measure, we installed a TrenchDrain™ to catch water that may enter the basement from an outside entryway as well as prevent freezing in the winter. 

The customer also opted to install our new ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring with a beautiful walnut finish in their newly waterproofed basement. Our flooring is inorganic and waterproof, which means you don’t need to worry about your floor harboring mold.
