David’s Harbor Springs, MI basement is now safer and more accessible with a newly installed egress window. This upgrade enhances natural light, provides a secure emergency exit, and ensures the space meets safety standards. Daniel was having issues with his egress window as water was getting into his basement during heavy rains. He decided to contact Ayers and look for solutions to his home problems. A System Design Specialist with Ayers determined that the window lid and well were not waterproofed, thus allowing water into the basement. The team at Ayers suggested installing a new window cover and lid. 

Daniel opted to have the Rockwell Egress Window Cover installed, which will provide a much better seal to the house and stop water from leaking into the window well. Additionally, a Rockwell Escape lid was installed, which made the window look better and provided a waterproof seal! After everything was said and done with Daniel's home, he no longer needed to worry about water leaking into his basement!

Gregory's completely finished basement is collecting water that is coming in from the floor where it meets the walls. The water is puddling and flowing through the hallway to some other rooms. This has not happened before and he doesn't want the finishings or furniture to get ruined so he needed a fix. We started with the TripleSafe Sump Pump to provide peace of mind to the owner that the home was safe. The sump pump has three levels of protection in case of a pump malfunction or a power outage. We also installed the WaterGuard French drain system to collect the water and send it to the sump pump to be discharged outside of the home. It is installed below the floor so you don't have an unsightly drain in the finished basement and can enjoy the space!

Two sump pumps, and still a wet basement? That was the case when the customer called us - wet and only getting wetter no matter what they did.

You could have a dozen sump pumps, but it wouldn't get your basement any drier than one if there was no way to get the water to them. So we installed the WaterGuard drainage system as well as a new TripleSafe sump pump, and that wet basement is going, going, gone.

Michael's unfinished basement was running into water intrusion issues during rains where the wall and floor met. He decided he needed to call Ayers for our waterproofing solutions. Our customer care team set an appointment with Michael for our crew to inspect his home. From the inspection, our System Design Specialists recommended that we install the WaterGuard System we provide. This is a subfloor drainage system that collects water leaking in through the walls. We hook this system to the sump pump so the water is directed here rather than on his floor. The drain is placed along the perimeter of the basement, resting in a bed of drainage stone and on top of the footing of the foundation to prevent clogging. Lastly, it is concealed with concrete to blend with the space. Michael will no longer need to stress about water damage!
