Deshauna was having foundational work done with Ayers. Our foreman Evan was able to do a full assessment of the home and treated all areas, not just the obvious. When Ayers works on a crawl space we plan on making sure its as safe as our foundations. That means lining the interior with an antimicrobial surface protector called CleanSpace. Ayers uses CleanSpace in all its crawl spaces to ensure our customers don't have repeat visits from contractors.

Deshauna moved into a new home and realized her crawl space was not in the best shape. Not to mention it was damp and humid. She decided to call Ayers to find a solution. After an appointment with an Ayers specialist, she decided to install CleanSpace. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy, durable plastic liner that lines the entirety of the crawlspace. This system creates a vapor barrier that stops moisture from entering the crawlspace. Once installed, Deshauna's crawl space not only looks better, but it will also function better! 

Jeff was in the middle of trying to sell his Okemos home but has serious water intrusion issues in his crawl space. His home was 70 years old but the crawl space was an addition. During rain storms, one corner of the crawl space had water pouring in and flooding the space. We installed our complete French drain perimeter system called WaterGuard which captures instrusive water and channels it to the newly installed sump pump. We applied drainage matting to the dirt floor to capture any other water that may enter the space and then applied a waterproof, antimicrobial plastic liner called CleanSpace to the floors and wall of the crawl space. Home owners also opt to add a dehumidifier to their crawl space to control all moisture.

Marilyn realized outside water had pooled on her basement floor and didn't know how it got there or how to remove it. After researching her options online, she called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. Our specialists visited her home to examine the space and suggested installing CleanSpace, a vapor barrier constructed of antimicrobial material to prevent mold growth. CleanSpace is applied entirely to the walls and floor of the basement to encapsulate the space and eliminate moisture entry. Marilyn is relieved to have a dry basement!

A seemingly crumbling crawl space was making our customers in Leslie, MI uneasy. The stone walls were loose, and the area was wet and dirty. Ayers crew came in and carried out tuck point on the wall to keep any loose stones from moving any further. Then, a SuperSump was installed to keep the crawl space dry. This SuperSump can pump up to 2200 gallons of water out of the basement per hour, and has a backup pump installed for extra protection. Lastly, cleanspace was added to the crawl space to act as a vapor barrier. This white lining, shown in the after picture, works to keep moisture out of the house and is mold and pest resistant, and helped to hold the stones in place.
