A homeowner called our team because her floor was beginning to sag. We took a look at her crawl space and decided to install SmartJack. SmartJack is a system produced to halt your sagging floors. Floors above crawl spaces are vulnerable due to the moisture and soils in your crawl space. The Smart Jack system is a permanent fix to these issues. It uses steel columns, threaded rods and a solid base to address any issues your crawl space may introduce to your floors. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization.

Kevin and Michelle's home was built in 1904 and they have been living there for about 4 years. They noticed a hump in the floor of the home when they moved in, but never got around to dealing with it. Now, floors are sagging and there are areas that where the floor is bouncy. Worried about the house crumbling down, they called Ayers for an inspection. Our crew determined that SmartJacks would be the perfect solution for the couple. 

SmartJacks are steel supports that balance the foundation of the home, lifting it to its original position. They can be adjusted so the home will never shift out of place and are anchored into the ground with poured concrete. 

Kevin and Michelle were grateful for the work Ayers did and happy to finally have this problem fixed before it got any worse. 

Kevin was looking into pole support for his crawl space to ensure his foundation is safe and stable so he called Ayers for help. After our crew conducted a free inspection in order to make the proper recommendations it was determined that he needed SmartJacks. These are supplemental support systems meant for crawl space applications as they will help stabilize the home. The steel columns were attached to a support beam above and connected to a sturdy base in the floor. The steel columns will raise the floors to a level position as well. Now Kevin doesn't have to stress over his home's foundation support!

Water damage caused a customer's basement foundation wall to bow. So he called our team and we installed the GeoLock Anchor System. This system permanently stabilized the customer’s wall. In most cases it can eventually straighten the wall back to its original position. It is done by putting heavy anchors in stable soil away from your foundation wall. This system is ideal because it involves minimal disturbance to the customer’s lawn and home.

This Kalamazoo had some walls in the basement and crawl space that were starting to bowing. There wall also contained a lot of cracks in the walls which is not a good sign. We installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to hault movement in the walls. This system is made up of flexible carbon fiber straps that are stronger in tension than steel. The straps are secured to the wall using a high strength resin to stabilize the wall. This system requires no exterior excavation, installs quickly, and won't impact future basement finishing.
