Bruce called Ayers when he saw pools of water forming in his crawl space. One of our Ayers System Design Specialists came out for inspection and determined CleanSpace, SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System would be a great fix for these water issues. 

CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that protects against excess moisture buildup. It consists of a thick, durable, plastic liner that will last decades. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier will remove water in the air and filter it into dry air to circulate throughout the crawl space. Last we have the TripleSafe which consists of three sump pumps in one liner. The first for the main job of removing water, the second for backup, and the last is battery-operated meaning, it will run in emergency power outages.

This home was built in 1920, so the crawl space was not exactly an ideal one.  There was also evidence of a termite infestation, and mold was growing in multiple spots. Needless to say, this crawl space was due for a major upgrade. Luckily for this Grass Lake, MI home, we have the perfect solution: our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Encapsulation system.

This Grass Lake home had a musty smell coming from the crawl space and the owner has respiratory issues making her worry that there was mold in her home. When we had our initial inspection, we found that the main beam in the crawl space was rotted and broken. To support the floors, we installed a supplemental beam and SmartJacks. The Smart Jack is a supplemental support system for crawl space applications. The Smart Jack effectively supports sagging beams and floor joists caused by, a length of span greater than spanning capability, floor load increased after construction, exceeding design values, and weakening over time due to high moisture and rot. After the installation of the CleanSpace system Luella told us she wished she would have had this transformation done years ago. Thanks to the hard work and efforts of our team, our new friend no longer thinks of her crawlspace as the terrible place it once was.
