A customer called about a crawlspace that had been neglected for years. When the customer would turn the heat on, they would smell what seemed to be mold and mildew from the crawlspace. From mold on the floor and roof of the crawlspace to the installation all over the place. This crawlspace is in need of a cleanup as soon as possible. Luckily, they turned to us to solve their problem. Our Cleanspace encapsulation system provides this household a permanent fix to the problems they had been having. The CleanSpace is a white, durable liner that fixes to the walls and flooring. This is to provide a barrier from cold/moisture from entering your crawlspace. Making this crawlspace, into a beautiful space. 

One of our clients from Cheboygan, MI began worrying about his mold and mildew ridden crawl space. He turned on his heater this winter and the mold and mildew smell began pouring up to the main level of his home. This quickly became an eye opener to our friend that he needed to address his neglected crawl space.

Upon sending a System Design Specialist to their home, we determined that the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system would play a key role in solving the issues at hand. The CleanSpace is a thick durable plastic barrier that fully seals off the crawl space from the elements it faces below. The CleanSpace is made with anti-microbial properties that prevent mold growth, so our friend can be certain his mold problem has been permanently solved. To supplement the CleanSpace, we used SilverGlo wall panels and spray foam insulation to ensure maximum energy efficiency and comfort in his home. In an effort to control the high relative humidity they also elected for us to install the SaniDry Sedona, a high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system. Thanks to this crawlspace encapsulation system, our client no longer smells mold and mildew when his heater comes on.

When spring comes, the snow melts and the ground thaws, water can get into a basement or crawl space causing water issues in your home. This was the case in Marietta and Lisa's home. Their crawl space would flood every spring and they wanted a solution to keep water out. We installed Drainage Matting and the CleanSpace Liner. Drainage Matting has dimples in it so water can flow under it the liner but it also directs the water to the sump pump to be discharged out of the space. The CleanSpace liner is a thick durable liner, similar to a pool liner, that keeps humidity and water vapor out of the area. It also keeps out pests like insects and rats as well as mold and rot.
