Alexandra bought a new home, and while it was new to her, it was still a 100-year-old house. She noticed foundational problems immediately as the floor between her kitchen and dining room was sagging. Looking to prevent it from getting worse, Alexandra contacted Ayers. After a System Design Specialist with Ayers thoroughly inspected the home, it was determined SmartJacks would be perfect for the job. 

The SmartJack system utilizes a concrete load-bearing base that is poured into a pre-dug hole. Once the bottom is set, a steel column is cut to the desired height and attached to a supplemental support beam across the floor joist. This system will permanently stabilize her home and, most importantly, stop the floor from sagging by bringing it back to a level height. Alexandra was happy to have found a solution that fixed her floor and stabilized her home! 

Ryan was searching for a more sufficient support system for his basement to replace the weak column he currently had. He came across Ayers and saw that we offer some great solutions to what he was looking for so he made the call. We sent a team to his home to conduct a free inspection and it was decided that SmartJacks would be the best solution.

SmartJacks offer Ryan a great solution since they are a supplemental support system that supports sagging beams and floor joists. His existing column had failed and settled so he needed a more sufficient, long-lasting solution. These are much stronger as well since they are made of steel columns, threaded rods, and a solid base.

This customer had a retaining block wall that was bowing inward. The block wall had multiple large cracks, once of which was a stair-step crack, which is a warning sign for potential wall failure.

We used the Geo-Lock Wall Anchor system to stabilize the wall and prevent it from bowing any further. Soil outside of the home was excavated in order to place a steel earth anchors deep in stable soil that will be strong enough to hold the wall in place. The earth anchors were then connected to the wall with a steel wall plates and secured into place with steel rods. Once installed, we tightened the system into place and the wall was immediately stabilized. The homeowner also received a tightening kit to continuously tighten the anchors as the wall shifts back to its proper position.

Annette realized there was a slant in her family room floor and knew she needed it fixed. She researched her options and called Ayers for help. We sent experts to her house to evaluate, and they recommended installing the SmartJacks supplemental support system. SmartJacks are a system of floor jacks, constructed of galvanized steel, zinc-plated, and placed two feet beneath the surface for optimal load bearing. Annette loves her level floor!

There were huge cracks and uneven spots around Steve's pool. So he called our team and we installed PolyLevel, a waterproof and long-lasting system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk by a polyurethane foam. This foam expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes.
