Cheryl T. called us because she had some water leaking in her basement and after inspection from one of our system design specialist it was evident that a couple of the basement walls were bowing. This can happen when the soil on the outside starts pushing on the foundation. With the homeowner we decided the use the solution of Carbon Fiber Straps to fix the walls. Carbon fiber is a very high tensile strength material which means it is literally impossible to stretch. Carbon fiber straps are a great option as long as the wall in only bowed in the middle and hasn't started sliding at the top or bottom.
