Foundation Repair in Cooperstown, ND
A male homeowner in Cooperstown, ND had cracked foundation walls in his basement, and he wanted to get them fixed before they cracked any further. He knew of our Design Specialist, Richie, so they discussed some possible solutions with each other, and Richie proposed our Foundation Repair Wall Anchor System. The homeowner got all of his questions answered about the product, its functions, etc., so he signed Richie's proposal and got a date on his schedule for the installation.
Our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew began the anchor installation by digging holes outside of the home beyond the foundation. From the interior foundation, our crew inserted a long, metal rod to each hole beyond the foundation. Once each anchor is connected to the metal rod, the pressure is clamped, which straightens the wall back into its original position. Our wall anchors can be installed year-round, they have a 25-year warranty, it provides very little damage to the home, and does not damage interior floors. To complete the installation, our team backfilled each hole, compacted the soil, and ensured the yard space was neater than when they found it. The homeowner was happy with the work that was completed and had a great experience!

Failing Foundation Gets a Solution in Madison, MN
A Madison, MN, homeowner had noticed a large crack forming along his basement wall over the last few years. He was worried that the cracking wall could eventually impact the safety of the home, as well as the resale value. He decided to find a foundation repair specialist in his area and quickly found American Waterworks. After perusing through our photo albums of other foundation projects in his area, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, was headed out to the home. Dylan wasted no time getting into the basement to see the problem walls. When Dylan finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. Dylan began by explaining that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from above, not from the side. So when the pressure being put on the side of the wall exceeds what it can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking or bowing. Dylan went on to say that we had the perfect solution. Dylan recommended our GeoLock wall anchors, explaining that these anchors counteract the pressure being put on the wall by anchoring it to the hard-packed, undisturbed soil beyond the foundation of the home. Dylan went on to say that not only does this method offer the potential to straighten the wall back to its original position, but it can be tightened over time to further straighten foundation walls. The homeowner was thrilled with Dylan's recommendation, and the two worked to find the best day for the installation.
About a month later, our Foreman, Juan P, and his team were out at the home to install the anchors. At the end of the project, our team had effortlessly installed 12 of our GeoLock anchors throughout the failing walls. Now, our homeowner can move on from this problem, confident that his home is properly defended!
Foundation Repair Fix in Marshall, MN
Kimberly and Nick T. of Marshall, MN had a small home that they rent out, and their foundation walls were beginning to bow inward. They didn't know why and they wanted to get the problem fixed. They scheduled a FREE estimate with one of our Design Specialists. Our Design Specialist went to their rental home, inspected their foundation wall, and gave them some of our foundation repair system options that would work for their needs. Kimberly and Nick liked the design of our GeoLock Wall Anchors, so they followed through with the project.
Our Foreman and his production team began the installation by digging holes outside of the home beyond the foundation. Inside the basement, our team inserted long, metal rods from the inside to the outside of the home where each hole was. At the end of the rod in the soil, our team installed an anchor plate, which holds the rod in place. Next, from the inside of the basement, our crew installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor to end rod, enabling the wall to stabilize and straighten back out to its normal position. This three-part combination makes for an effective result and ensures the home will no longer need to depend on a bowing or tilting wall. To complete the installation, our Foreman and his team backfilled each hole, compacted the soil, and left the yard and basement looking neater than when they found it.

Failing Foundation Finds a Fix in Marshall, MN
A Marshall, MN, homeowner had noticed several cracks running down his foundation walls over the years. He did not want to worry about the problem any longer, so he decided to find a foundation repair company out of Minnesota. After he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist was headed out to the home.
Our Design Specialist got right to work assessing the basement. When he finished, he was ready to make his recommendation, our CarbonArmor system. He explained that foundation wall cracks and bowing basement walls are signs that your foundation requires repair. CarbonArmor® straps are a quick, affordable way to stabilize block and poured concrete walls that have cracked and that are showing signs of bowing. Our installers determine the number of straps required depending on the pressure being exerted and the length of the affected wall. The super strong carbon fiber straps are then attached to the wall with epoxy. While this method does not restore a bowed wall to its original plumb state, it will halt further movement and cracks. And because the straps don't protrude from the wall the way I-beams do, the repair can be easily covered with mortar, paint, or light wall panels. The homeowner liked the sound of our Design Specialists plan and signed on the spot.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Raul B, led his team through the successful installation of 13 CarbonArmor strips throughout the basement. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing his foundation worries have been halted!
