Soil washout is the process by which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. To fix this issue, Brad recommended our waterproofing foam expanding formula, PolyLevel, to lift the slabs. The homeowner happily agreed to Brad's recommendation, and the installation date was scheduled

In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs. PolyLevel is then injected beneath, filling in the voids in the soil and causing the slabs to lift. Once it has been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, after every had been installed, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

A homeowner from Glencoe, MN, had been suffering from a damp basement for some time. Once the Radon test kit had sat in the basement long enough, the sample was sent in for evaluation. The numbers can back reading 12.7 pCi/L, which is extremely high. The EPA recommends taking action on any radon levels over 4 pCi/L. Kevin let the homeowners know that while the numbers were high, our Radon mitigation system would bring those numbers way down to inhabitable conditions. He went on to say that the mitigation system works to pull radon from the home, piping it upwards, and expelling it out through the top of the home, and out and away from the house. The homeowners agreed and work began a few weeks later.
