Sunken Concrete Slab Lifted in Clear Lake, IA
A homeowner in Clear Lake, IA, had noticed that their concrete walkway had begun sinking on one side, causing it to become uneven. Knowing it impacted the curb appeal of the home, the homeowner began looking into concrete lifting services in the area. The homeowner found us and, after becoming impressed by our concrete before and after transformations, contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate.
In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Brad W., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, Brad explained to the homeowner that soil washout is one of the most common causes of settling concrete slabs. Soil washout is the process by which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. To fix this issue, Brad recommended our waterproofing foam expanding formula, PolyLevel, to lift the slabs. The homeowner happily agreed to Brad's recommendation, and the installation date was scheduled
In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs. PolyLevel is then injected beneath, filling in the voids in the soil and causing the slabs to lift. Once it has been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, after every had been installed, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

She no longer wanted to deal with the problem and decided to find a basement waterproofing company near Glencoe, MN. Through extensive internet searches, the homeowner quickly found our website and signed up for her FREE estimate.
A few weeks later, Eric H, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home. When Eric finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. This unique French drain gets installed below the basement floor, atop the footing of the foundation, giving the water entering down from the CleanSpace, and coming up from the floor, a channel to flow freely to a pre-installed sump system. The homeowner was thrilled with Eric's explanation and solution and signed on the spot.
Several weeks later, our Foreman, Jesus C, and his crew were out at the home. At the end of the project, our team effortlessly installed 136 sqft of CleanSpace, and 136 sqft of WaterGuard. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing her basement is properly defended against unwanted water!
High Radon Levels Get Mitigated in Arlington, MN
A homeowner from Arlington, MN got in contact with us when they learned of hazardous radon gas and wanted to have their home tested to make sure the air they were breathing was healthy. They searched for a company that deals with Radon and came across our website. They decided to take advantage of our FREE, no-obligation estimate into the issue. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Kevin, headed out to the property to assess the situation. Part of Kevin's visit was leaving a Radon test kit in the basement of the home. Once the Radon test kit had sat in the basement long enough, the sample was sent in for evaluation. The numbers can back reading 12.7 pCi/L, which is extremely high. The EPA recommends taking action on any radon levels over 4 pCi/L. Kevin let the homeowners know that while the numbers were high, our Radon mitigation system would bring those numbers way down to inhabitable conditions. He went on to say that the mitigation system works to pull radon from the home, piping it upwards, and expelling it out through the top of the home, and out and away from the house. The homeowners agreed and work began a few weeks later.
Our Foreman, Geno, and his team make quick work of the installation. Once the job was completed, the homeowner was thrilled to know that they could take a breath of relief with clean air.
