A homeowner in Waseca, MN, had water all over their basement floor and was concerned they were experiencing a failed waterproofing system. Knowing the issue must be addressed before it worsens, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE basement waterproofing estimate. 

In less than a week, one of our Design Specialists arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, our Design Specialist noticed that the humidity levels along the walls were high and most of the water intrusions were coming from the perimeter of the basement. To solve this issue, our Design Specialist recommended installing WaterGuard, our below-the-floor drainage system, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier system, IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line, and replacing the sump pump with our reliable SuperSump+. The homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Raul B., and his crew arrived at the home to carry out the installation. The crew installed 110ft of WaterGuard and CleanSpace, 1 SuperSump+, and 1 IceGuard.

Joshua H. of Avon, MN had water leaking into his old farmhouse and he was looking for options of putting in drain tile. He got in touch with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to Joshua's house, carefully inspected her problems, and proposed a system that would work for him and his needs. He was confident in the proposal of our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain and our sump pump system, so he went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman and his crew began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter and installing our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which is an interior drainage system that collects water seepage from basement walls, and has an easily accessible service ports when it comes time for annual maintenance. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace tape around the bottom of the wall perimeter on top of the WaterGuard, which is made to prevent water from seeping through the bottom of the wall. Lastly, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53, which is a sump pump made to keep basements dry for long periods of time. To complete the project, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them. A homeowner in New Germany, MN, sought to have their crawl space encapsulation. Knowing many companies offer crawl space encapsulation as a service, they wanted to find the company that was best fit for their situation. After comparing a variety of companies, the homeowner decided to work with us, American Waterworks. The homeowner visited our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was sent, we sent one of our Design Specialists to investigate the homeowner's issue. After the Design Specialist arrived, they determined that the CleanSpace Drainage Matting would need to be installed in the crawl space. Wanting to solve the issue, the homeowners agreed to the Design Specialists' proposition. The solution was sent to the assigned crew and they traveled to the home. Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew started by preparing the crawl space for the installation. Once the crawl space was ready, the crew went ahead and installed the CleanSpace Draining Matting on the floor. After the CleanSpace Draining Matting was installed, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl space walls. The crew completed the crawl space encapsulation and cleaned their job site. A Young America, MN, homeowner was down in his basement one day when he noticed a large crack running the length of his basement wall. He was concerned since he hadn't noticed the crack a week before, thinking that the wall might be failing faster than he realized. He decided to find a foundation repair contractor in his area. Ryan began by saying that foundation walls are not designed to withstand pressure from the side, so when the pressure being put on the side of a wall exceeds what it can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom, and/or tilting inward at the top. Ryan went on to say that our GeoLock wall anchors could reverse the issue, as this innovative system counteracts the pressure being put on the wall by anchoring the failing wall to the hard-packed, undisturbed soil beyond the foundation of the home. The homeowner liked the sound of Ryan's plan and scheduled the work on the spot. 

Several weeks later, our Foreman, Chris N, and his team were in the basement installing the system. In the end, they installed 16 GeoLock anchors throughout the basement. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his foundation is secure!
