Terri F. in West Concord, MN was planning on finishing his basement, but lacked the proper insulation. He contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, presented him with our products and the best solution. Terri approved of Dylan's plan and scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew were able to successfully insulate Terri’s basement by first installing our insulated spray foam. Then, they installed our Basement To Beautiful™ insulated wall panels. Cara from Sargeant, MN noticed water coming into her basement at the base of the stairs. This was especially worrisome for Cara since she knew this could potentially damage her valuables. Cara contacted our Appointment Center here at American Waterworks and scheduled her FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick. Rick headed out to Cara's property and began a thorough inspection of the home to obtain a proper diagnosis of the home and prevent any other issues from arising. Rick proposed that the best solution to the issues she was experiencing was to invest in our WaterGuard and TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Cara agreed with the proposal and scheduled the date of installation. 

Our Foreman, Crescencio, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls.

Next up was our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which has three levels of protection to solve all water problems a homeowner may experience. Along with the TripleSafe Sump Pump is a battery backup that helps in cases where power is lost in a home, the battery will keep the pumps draining any excess water build-up. Once the job is done, the production team then places a new layer of concrete around the TripleSafe to provide a cleaner and more finished look.

To complete the project, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.

A homeowner in Sargeant, MN, knew it was time to repair the water-damaged basement. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ryan. Once Ryan arrived, he began the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Ryan confirmed that the space was suffering from water intrusion. To prevent the issues from worsening, Ryan recommended waterproofing the entire space. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Ryan to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Lane, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Lane and his crew started by securing WaterGuard along the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. A homeowner in Elkton, MN, noticed their sump pump was running slower and making odd noises. Concerned about the status of their sump pump, the homeowner looked for a professional to assist them. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Romeo, one of our Design Specialists. Romeo arrived and began inspecting their current sump pump. Romeo confirmed that the sump pump needed to be replaced, so he recommended installing the TripleSafe sump pump. After seeing the incredible benefits, the homeowner agreed with Romeo's recommendations. Our Foreman, Dakota, was assigned to complete the job. When Dakota arrived, he began by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump was removed, he put the TripleSafe in its place. Additionally, Dakota installed an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. After the IceGuard was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Our production team started the waterproofing process by removing the concrete around the perimeter of her basement floor and installing our WaterGuard drainage system. The WaterGuard connects to the TripleSafe sump pump that they installed in the corner of the basement. The water that was leaking into her basement before is now guided through the drainage system, into the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Colleen's basement has remained a dry, livable space and her peace of mind has been restored!
