Connie and Daniel S. of Mora, MN had water leaking through the walls of their basement, making them feel nervous about water moisture problems and flooding. They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to their home, inspected their problems, and came up with a solution that fit their needs and budget. Connie and Daniel were confident with our waterproofing products and warranty, so they went ahead with the installation.

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production team began the process by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a drainage trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an interior drainage system, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, and hide any holes or divots in the walls. It also gives the room a neat and clean appearance. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Connie and Daniel were very happy with the repairs and had a great experience from start to finish!

A homeowner in Bayport, MN, recently watched a commercial discussing the dangers of radon. Concerned about the levels in their home, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with insight. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists to take a closer look. The Design Specialist promptly arrived and began the radon test. While the radon test was being completed, the Design Specialist looked for the best place to install the Radon Mitigation System. After the test was completed, the test results showed that the levels were high. The Design Specialist recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System in the home. The homeowner agreed and worked with the Design Specialist to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Dakota and his crew successfully secured the Radon Mitigation System on the south side of the home. After the Radon System was secured, Dakota and his crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. American Waterworks is happy to lower the radon levels in its customers' homes!
