A homeowner in Waukon, IA, noticed water damage along their basement perimter. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed an expert to provide them with a solution. Uncertain who to work with, the homewoner asked their friend, who had simliar work completed, for any recommendations. Their friend recommended working with us, American Waterworks. After taking a closer look at our services, the homeowner knew we were the ideal candidate for the project. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to the home to take a closer look at the basement. While he was taking a closer look, Ryan confirmed the water was sneaking in through the basement perimeter. To prevent the issue from continuing, Ryan recommended fully waterproofing the basement. After Ryan's proposal, the homewoner knew this was their best plan of action.  Once Ryan received the homeowner's stamp of approval, he sent the plans to our Logsitics team to build and schedule the project. Once the project details were finalized, our Logisitcs team assigned the project to our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew. A few months later, the project date arrived, so Kiko and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Kiko and his crew started by inserting WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to installing the TripleSafe along the west wall. Finally, the crew wrapped up by attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was secure from future water intrusion. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.

Basement Waterproofing in Wilson, WI

Annalora W. of Wilson, WI had water leaking into her basement, causing her to worry about water moisture, mold build-up, and other problems. She found an American Waterworks advertisement in her local newspaper, so she called the office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Mac Cole. Mac went to her home, inspected her basement, and drew up a solution that worked for her and her home repair needs. She was confident in the solution of our WaterGuard System and our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier and their warranties, so she went ahead with the project and scheduled an installation date.

Our Foreman, Chris Newton, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which serves as an underground drain, collects water seepage from basement walls, and prevents water and mud clogs. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up and act as an extra wall protectant. To complete the installation, our team filled the open trench gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. SumpPump Installation in Glenwood City, WI

Jeremy from Glenwood City, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice unwanted water entering his basement. He was afraid that if left untreated, the problem would worsen and cause serious damage. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate and shortly after our Design Specialist, Mac, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. Mac wanted to use three of our products to rid the space of water. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to redirect water. Mac explained that this tarp-like material gets installed directly onto basement walls and works to direct the flow of water down to his second recommendation, our WaterGuard French drainage system. He went on to say that the WaterGuard is installed below the concrete flooring and works to direct water to the appropriate location. For that location, Mac recommended a SuperSump sump pump. He explained that this effective and economic solution is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for an extended period of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion, as it's capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Raul, and his team ended up installing 78 ft of our WaterGuard drainage system, 1 SuperSump sump pump, and another 78 ft of our CleanSpace. When the job was complete our customer was happy to know he no longer had to worry about water entering his basement.
