A homeowner in Eden Valley, MN was looking to make some changes to his front yard to increase the curb appeal. The first thing he wanted to focus on was the front walkway and stoop leading up to the front door. He had noticed a faint line from where the concrete used to be and figured it had most likely sunk over the years. Curious about what it would take to repair it, he went online to find a reasonable solution. He looked up "concrete lifting MN" and was overwhelmed with how many services showed up. The homeowner in Clear Lake Iowa wanted to level off a sinking slab near their front step.  Using our PolyLEVEL system, American Waterworks was able to adjust the slab back to it's original position.  

A homeowner in Clear Lake, IA, was experiencing a sunken concrete driveway and knew the bumps and cracks would only continue to worsen if left untreated. The homeowner began looking for concrete lifting and leveling contractors in the area and found us. After browsing our website and growing impressed by our concrete before and after transformations, the homeowner contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate. 

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Nate B., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Nate explained to the homeowner that soil compaction is one of the most common causes of sinking concrete slabs. When the soil's load-bearing capacity is exceeded, in this case, as cars drive over the driveway, it causes the soil to compact and settle. To fix this issue, Nate recommended PolyLevel, our foam-expanding formula that accurately lifts sunken slabs within seconds, and NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant that repairs cracks and seals joints. The homeowner happily agreed to Nate's recommendation and scheduled the installation date.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Troy J., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. PolyLevel is installed by first drilling small 3/8" holes into the concrete slabs. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, filling in the voids in the soil. Once the slabs have been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, the crew used NexusPro to repair the cracks and seal the joints between the garage and driveway.

Pat M. in Glencoe, MN had some sinking and cracked concrete throughout her driveway and patio. She was looking into concrete repair options when she came across the American Waterworks website. Our Foreman, Brandon Wiskow, and Co-Foreman Tyler Brockway, drilled small holes into the concrete and injected the polymer foam which expands and hardens under the concrete, causing the concrete to raise. They repeated this process numerous times until the driveway and walkways were raised back to their original position. Next, they filled the holes with fresh concrete, sealed the cracks with our Nexus Pro sealant, and cleaned up the work area. Pat was pleased with the results and is glad she can now enjoy a safe driveway and patio for years to come!

Bill was amazed at the transformation, and he is glad he will now be able to enjoy an even patio and deck for many years to come.
