A homeowner in Northwood, IA, disliked the appearance of their cracked and uneven concrete. Knowing they needed a professional solution, the homeowner looked into "professional concrete repair near me". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks, after seeing our PolyLevel lifting and leveling services. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Brad. Brad promptly arrived at the home and thoroughly inspected the surrounding concrete. During his inspection, Brad discovered that several slabs were sinking and cracking due to settlement. To prevent the issues from continuing, Brad recommended leveling and repairing the damaged concrete. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the recommendations. Next, Brad sent the proposal to our Logistics team to finalize and schedule the project. Our Logistics team scheduled the project for a few weeks later. Once the project date arrived, our crew traveled to the home to begin. First, the crew started by installing PolyLevel underneath the damaged sidewalk. Once the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted their focus to repairing the several cracks with NexusPro. Finally, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair their customer's damaged concrete.

A homeowner in Waseca, MN was tired of dealing with the state of his sunken concrete walkway. Over time as the slabs had continued sinking, a large gap had formed between the front stoop and walkway. He was worried about people leaving from the front door and losing balance from how deep the step down was. For a temporary solution, he made a homemade third step out of wood, but knew that a permanent solution should be made. Concrete Walkway Lifted and Leveled in Belle Plaine, MN
A customer from Belle Plaine, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his walkway leading up to his house was sinking, creating a sizable gap between the stair and the walkway. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, headed out to the property to assess the issue. When completed, he let our customer know that the reason the concrete was sinking was due to faulty soil underneath. He informed him that this could be due to excessive heat, water intrusion, or poorly compacted soil from when the home was built. He recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection to correct the problem. Our Design Specialist explained that this modern approach utilized an expanding polyurethane foam to raise the slab back to its original state. He went on to say that this method is far less invasive than alternative remedies. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Dylon, began the process by drilling strategic holes into the concrete walkway. Next, he injected the foam into the hole and closely monitored the lifting process, making sure the slab returned to where it should be.
Once completed, our customer was happy to know he had eliminated the gap and could go back to safely using his concrete slab!
