Cracked and Bowing Foundation Repaired in Jasper, MN

Audrey S. in Jasper, MN had some severe cracks in the walls in her basement that were getting larger over time and putting pressure on the foundation. She was concerned about the bowing walls and the potential damage it could cause. She knew how costly it could be to replace her foundation entirely, so she started researching foundation repair contractors. She was glad to see that American Waterworks has been the leading contractor in foundation repair for nearly 3 decades! She contacted us for a free estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, to evaluate her situation. She was impressed with the proposed solution and moved forward with an installation date.

In order to fully stabilize the damaged foundation, our production crew installed 6 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the basement wall. The anchor rods were drilled deep into the soil outside of the home and wall plates installed on each end of the rod to secure the anchor. Then, they tightened the anchor to start the process of straightening the wall. Audrey is happy she made the investment to protect her home.

A homeowner in Harvey, ND noticed a wall crack growing in the upstairs of their home. Concerned by the deep cracks, the homeowner wanted to find a solution before the issues progressed. The homeowner came across American Waterworks and signed up for their FREE estimate. American Waterworks sent out a Design Specialist, James, to inspect the situation. James discovered severe wall failure in the basement. James suggested Everbrace be implemented. Wanting to salvage the house, the homeowner agreed with the plan. Our Foreman, Domenic, and his crew went out to begin the job. At the time, the home had no power, water, or lights, so it was vital for the crew to bring everything they needed. The crew began by breaking up and hauling away any concrete that fell from the failed ledge. Then the crew installed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement with the feedline in to connect the two ends. Additionally, SmartJacks were installed to support the main beam across the basement. Finally, Everbrace was installed on the west and south basement walls to stabilize permanently. The homeowner was beyond pleased that their home had been saved from possible demolition. American Waterworks was happy to please another customer.
