Micela and Will from St. Paul, MN got in contact with us when they began to notice that their basement wall was beginning to show signs of bowing. They were afraid that if they left the issue unresolved, they could face serious damage to the structural integrity of the home. When they called in, we set them up with our FREE estimate, entitling them to a thorough, no-obligation estimate by a member of our Sales team. Shortly after scheduling, our Design Specialist, Michele, headed out to the property to do a walkthrough. Once he completed his inspection he was able to make his recommendations. He recommended our GeoLock wall anchors to fix the situation. He explained that these locks will permanently stabilize your foundation wall by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation of the home. He went on to say that, as the house shifts and settles more, the anchors can be tightened to give homeowners peace of mind for years to come. The couple agreed and work began shortly after.

A Saint Paul, MN, homeowner was beginning the process of getting his home ready for resale. Before he could be confident in his listing, he knew that he had a major foundation issue to fix in the basement. Over the years, the wall had begun cracking in several places. The homeowner decided to find a solution, so he decided to claim one of our FREE estimates. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mac C, headed out to the home to see what could be done. 

After Mac completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations and discuss the next steps. Mac began by saying that foundation walls are designed to support loads from above, not from the side. When side pressure on your walls exceeds their ability to withstand the force, they will begin to crack, bow, slide in at the bottom, and/or tilt in at the top. In this case, Mac suspected street creep damage was the culprit. Street creep is a problem that is caused by thermal expansion and contraction of exterior concrete pavement that surrounds a home. As this concrete expands against a driveway with inadequate expansion joints, the driveway is pushed against the garage slab, which in turn pushes against the foundation, causing damage. For this reason, Mac was recommending our GeoLock anchors to fix the issue. The GeoLock® Street Creep Repair System will prevent future damage with new expansion joints in your concrete driveway as well as a steel wall anchor system that reinforces and straightens your foundation walls. The homeowner liked the sound of preserving his driveway and decided to schedule the project for several weeks later.

This home's foundation in Bear Lake, MN was cracking and beginning to bow. The home was older and needed some foundation help. So they contacted us to assess the problem. 

We decided to use Residential Shotcrete, which stabilizes old, deteriorating walls. This substance is twice as strong as concrete. 

Now the homeowners feel twice as safe with their newly reinforced foundation! 

A homeowner in White Bear Lake, MN, noticed several of the cracks on their walls were spreading and worsening. To prevent the issue from worsening, Dylan recommended installing GeoLocks and PowerBraces on the struggling foundation walls. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with Dylan's proposal. Following the homeowner's approval, Dylan sent the plans to our Logsitics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logistics team built the project, then assigned it to our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Kiko and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Kiko and his crew began by installing eight GeoLock Anchors on the struggling foundation walls. Once the GeoLock Anchors were secured, the crew shifted their focus to installing four PowerBraces. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Robert and Teresa M. of Saint Paul Park didn't have enough support to hold up their floor to their upstairs. They found out that we provide FREE estimates so they got in touch with our office staff and scheduled their appointment. Our Design Specialist, Shane, went to their house, inspected their pre-existing support posts, and proposed our SmartJacks, which are heavy-duty galvanized, steel beams. Robert and Teresa were confident in the system and its design, so they moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew installed seven of our SmartJacks to lift and support the sagging floor joists. This system can hold up to loads of 60,000 pounds. The project took one day and Robert and Teresa were thrilled with the work!
