Cabin owners reached out to DBS for help stabilizing their cabin located in Saginaw, MN. The cabin has been in the family for generations and was in need of serious help to stay healthy for decades to come.

After inspecting the home, Nathan recommended stabilizing the sinking structure using Supportworks® push piers. Push piers are driven deep underground until they reach bedrock and are measured using hydraulic pressure. Once solid bedrock is reached the structure can be permanently stabilized and is guaranteed under a nationally-backed warranty! This stabilization system is completely hidden from sight once installed and is covered with dirt and can have grass or other landscaping options applied. A crew went in and provided the spray foam insulation service, which will help seize any cold air from entering vulnerable areas from outside the house. Additionally, this will also help save energy for the home. 

The windows in this basement were not idea for this situation. They allowed water to leak into the basement and their low insulation rating made then house much less efficient. With the sunrise windows we installed the basement is now more insulated and water no longer leaks through this the window openings.
