Basement In Iron River, WI Saved From Water Damage Caused By Cracked Foundation Walls

The owner of this structure noticed cracking in the walls of the foundation along with water leaking through the walls. They have recently been thinking about reselling the property, and in hopes of finding a solution to increase the resale value of her property, they contacted DBS solutions.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the owner. After completing a thorough inspection, Henrik suggested that this property would greatly benefit from DBS's PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System.

Foreman Osia Williams completed this project along with his team, and they successfully installed 2 PowerBrace™ I-beams that will correct bowing and prevent further cracking over time. DBS consulted with the owner upon completion of the first project to come back a second time in order to install waterproofing materials.

The owner of this property can now think clearly about potentially reselling the property now that they are assured the foundation is sound, sturdy, and stabilized.

Push Piers Lift and Level Sinking Foundation in Iron River, WI

This homeowner in Iron River, WI recently purchased this home and wanted to address the stability issues. Needing a permanent and professional solution, they trusted DBS to help.

Design Specialist James Miller visited the home in order to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, a quote was provided for our push pier support system.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a team. They began by excavating the area around the foundation of the home. Next, they use hydraulic pressure to move the pier down through the ground until it reached native, stable soil. Once reached, the pressure pushes against the soil and lifts the structure back to its original position.

This homeowner can now relax in their new home knowing it is level and stable.
