This homeowner in Hovland, MN was concerned about the energy efficiency in her home and the air quality. After a quick call to DBS, an appointment was set to have a specialist come out to the home for a free, no-obligation estimate. At the inspection, the specialist was able to explain to the homeowner the best possible solution. The crawl space beneath the home was giving off slight odors and growing some mold. To combat this problem, encapsulating the space would be the best option. This CleanSpace® solution would also make the home more energy efficient and create a barrier between the ground and the house. The homeowner chose to go forward with this work and once it was completed, she no longer had to worry about mold and odor coming from the crawlspace.

This cabin in Hovland, MN had issues with sinking and settling. The owners had purchased this cabin with hopes of finishing the inside. Looking for a permanent solution to their uneven flooring, they called DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for foundation repair. 

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo has diagnosed structural issues in hundreds of homes and cabins in Minnesota and Wisconsin. After giving a thorough inspection, he suggested our helical piering system for the perimeter of the cabin as a solution to foundation failure.

Foreman Trevor Ingle and his crew led this project, and together they drove 12 helical piers beneath the cabin. This solution allowed the perimeter of the cabin to level and also stabilized the structure to prevent further sinking into the ground. 

This cabin is now permanently stabilized and the owners will be able to complete the interior of their new retreat. 

Customer is worried about mold in a closet that continues to get wet.  Our team waterproofed the closet and installed waterproofing around the corner with a sump pump. We were pumped to help this customer with WOW Service!

This customer was looking to properly waterproof their basement! After a quick response, our design specialist was able to recommended our Brightwall and Waterguard to repair and seal their foundation!

After scheduling the best time with the customer, one of our foremen led the installation of this project with help from their team. The crew began prepping to repair and seal the damaged foundation, clearing any belongings and sealing the area to insure a clean home. Then they began the repair/sealing process to help create a lasting and effective solution. Now this homeowner can relax in their healthy home!

A building in Rice Lake, WI was experiencing issues with leaking water and it was worrying for the owner, due to the damages that can occur from this. In need of a solution, they reached out to DBS for assistance. After thorough inspection, it was concluded that the wall was the main concern for leaking water, and CleanSpace® wall poly would need to be installed. This is an ideal product for an efficient waterproofing system. Along with the CleanSpace®, the building also had WaterGuard® installed at the bottom of the wall to catch any unwanted water along the concrete flooring, as seen in the attached photo.
