This customer reached out to DBS after noticing they had water leaking around the perimeter of their mothers basement and they didn't want to worry about her going down to do laundry. DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo is an expert in diagnosing foundation and water issues in local homes. Our crews first completed the waterproofing project, installing over 100 feet of WaterGuard® along the basement perimeter walls. The drain system is designed to catch any moisture from the foundation's footing and will carry it to the new TripleSafe™ sump pump. From there, our team installed closed-cell spray foam to properly insulate the rim joists, and new EverLast™ windows for an energy-efficient alternative to natural light in the basement.
