Cold and Damp Crawlspace Insulated and Encapsulated in Lake Nebagamon, WI
These homeowners in Lake Nabagamon, WI wanted a 4 season home to enjoy, but their cold, damp crawl space was limiting them to a 3 season space.
Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo helped these homeowners with a free no-obligation estimate in order to offer them the best solution for their home. After inspection, Henrik suggested the homeowners encapsulate their crawlspace using SprayFoam, Drainage Matting, TerraBlock™, and CleanSpace® in order to keep the space dry and warm.
Foreman Nick Woods led this installation along with a team. The team started by placing using SprayFoam to insulate the walls of the crawl space. They then placed down Drainage Matting in order to avoid future moisture in the space. To follow, TerraBlock™ insulation was placed to avoid cool air entering the space from beneath the home. Finally, CleanSpace® is placed on top to cover the walls and floor of the crawl space.
This crawl space encapsulation will keep this home dry and warm during all 4 seasons.
Rim Joist Waterproofing and Insulation with Polyurethane Spray Foam Installed by DBS

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they sprayed the rim joists of the home with our waterproof polyurethane spray foam to properly insulate and waterproof the rim joist area.

DSB Crawl Space Encapsulation Service Rids of Musty Smell in Crawl Space of Rental Property in Maple, WI

Foreman Raeshawn Pelfrey led the installation for this project with assistance from a crew. Together they cleaned out the fallen and moldy insulation. Then the crew laid down drainage matting over the ground to direct the flow of water. TerraBlock™ foam insulation was installed over the drainage matting to prevent frost build-up. Finally, a layer of CleanSpace® vapor barrier was installed to seal off the insulation. The crew also applied spray foam into the rim joists to completely air-seal the space.
Now that the crawl space has been properly insulated, the owners will experience warmer floors and lower heating bills because of their energy-efficient solution.
