Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Henrik recommended our PowerBrace® System to the homeowner as a solution to their problem.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 9 PowerBrace® i-beams in the basement to permanently stabilize their foundation.

Now that the home has been properly supported, the homeowner will be able to enjoy time in their home without worrying about their basement walls caving in.

A homeowner from Bayport, MN reached out to DBS looking for help with concerns about their settling foundation. One of our Design Specialists, Jason Swanson, went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialists provided the homeowner with a free quote for our Helical Pier System. One of our crews led by Foreman, George Barry, installed the piers deep below the foundation in order to permanently stabilize the home. Now the homeowner can relax with peace of mind from foundation issues!

A hotel in Aitkin, MN was experiencing stability issues with its block foundation walls, and DBS went out to provide some support. Our foreman and his crew were able to install a considerable amount of PowerBrace™ units around the area of the wall to maximize the strength of the foundation. These braces can also help to straighten out bowing walls over time, should they need it. 

This Aitkin, MN cabin owner identified a low area in their crawlspace that was collecting water in the spring and after heavy rains. They noted temperature and humidity fluctuations as well and wanted the dirt floor crawl space sealed.

DBS Design Specialist and waterproofing expert Rich Johnsen visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. It was determined that both the crawl space would need to be totally encapuslated in order to keep moisture at bay and regular temperature and energy in the reast of the cabin.

A DBS foreman and crew installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier over drainage matting in the dirt crawl space. These two products work together to keep moisture and pests at bay. To further prevent moisture and the growth of mold, closed-cell spray foam was applied to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space. 

The space was topped off with an UltraSump™ sump pump that has a battery backup system, providing protection and peace of mind when you have a pump failure or power outage.

The homeowner was happy with the work done, resulting in a great improvement of this home's overall health. 

The owner of this newly purchased cabin in Aitkin, MN wanted to stabilize the structure before moving on with interior renovations. They contacted DBS for help with this stabilization and lifting project. 

Design Specialist Zach Guilliams assisted this homeowner in a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Zach provided a quote for our SmartJack® Support System. 

Foreman Osia Williams led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team installed these jack systems to evenly distribute the weight of the structure. Once the structure is stabilized, the jacks are lifted in order to raise the cabin and create a level floor once again. This minimizes sagging and will be the last solution for this owner. 

With this new solution, this homeowner can continue with other renovations and create the perfect cabin for their family.
