This homeowner began to notice varying voids around their home, including ones that were unfortunately formed underneath some concrete pads. As more moisture eroded more soil, the concrete began to crack, separate, and eventually sink. We come across this issue a lot, in driveways, sidewalks, patios, and more, but fortunately we are able to provide the best solution. To restore this slab, our concrete specialists brought the PolyLevel and NexusPro systems. PolyLevel involves using injected PolyFoam to fill up the voids, harden, and create a new support. By determining and using the exact amount needed, our concrete crew can bring the slab back up to original level. To prevent further erosion, gaps and cracks are filled in with NexusPro. This is high-quality crack sealant designed to continue acting as a shield against several problematic factors, such as harsh weather or UV rays. We come across many concrete slabs that have sunken due to the soil being washed out from underneath. This can occur when water has easy access under the concrete, allowing continuous erosion. For this walkway, we were able to help prevent this by sealing the exposed joints with our NexusPro Sealant. This durable yet flexible sealant is the best option for cracks and joints, acting as a barrier against moisture, harsh weather, and damaging UV-rays. These homeowners could no longer stand the annoying bump they felt every single time they pulled into their garage, it was time to do something about it.
