Kim and her son were having allergy issues and mold/humidity was a big concern. They noticed that they had sagging floors and the walls were bowing in which they believed might be some of the problem. Their house was built in the 1880s and they wanted to ensure that it is being taken care of. They were looking for better air quality and to repair their crawl space.

They decided to call us at Thrasher Foundation Repair and we were able to identify their issues and make a plan to resolve them. We encapsulated the crawl space with a product called CleanSpace. We added a Sedona Sani Dry dehumidifier to reduce humidity. We also added 5 GeoLock Anchors on the east wall to support the bowing walls. 

This crawl space got completely transformed! After installing our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system, this homeowner is now protected from humidity, mold, and has improved air quality around the home.

This homeowner hated how dirty her crawlspace was because it was started to smell and stink up the whole house! She gave us a call and knew from the minute our System Design Specialist Josh Krestine walked in the door with a smile on his face and wanting to just help out with whatever he could that she wanted to work with us. Josh spoke with the homeowner about the problems she was experiencing, then he went down to the crawlspace and determined the source of her problems. He found what water and moisture was flowing under the foundation walls and releasing water vapor into the crawlspace. After seeing this, Josh worked the homeowner into the schedule for installation quickly so that she wouldn't need to deal with this foul smell for much longer. Our installation team came out to the home in just 1 day and they used a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along with drain matting to help keep water down and out of the crawlspace.
