The Customer was unable to close his bedroom door for nearly a year. He had tried to reframe the door and sand it but to no avail. He was tired of his door sticking and concerned about his sinking home. We used a SmartJack system to level the home's floor and foundation and solve the issue of the sticking bedroom door.  

Robert B. started to notice that the floors in the crawl space were sagging, and that doors and windows were not closing properly. Not wanting the problem to get worse, he decided to seek out a solution right away. After having Thrasher Foundation Repair come out to do other work, he felt comfortable in having us come back out.

We sent Service Technician Michael Holtz out to Robert’s home. Robert had already braced the crawl space but was ready to finish the job. The crew installed SmartJacks to support the crawl space and the sagging floors. Then also insulated the crawl space with SilverGlo helping the space become energy efficient. Robert was happy that we were able to create a permanent solution.

Homeowners Linda and Severin J. noticed that there was cracking on one of their foundation walls and were worried about the impact this would have on their foundation. Linda and Severin were also looking to update their sump pump. They decided to give Thrasher Foundation Repair a call.

System Design Specialist Nicholas Hruska went out to their home. Upon inspection Nicholas was able to identify three walls had structural defects. Their sump pump was also having mechanical failure and the basement had high humidity levels.  The crew installed three PowerBraces so the walls would be supported and stabilized. Then a new sump pump and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was also installed to control humidity. Linda and Severin were extremely pleased with everything and how the crew kept the area clean.

The individual contacted us out of concern that their wall was showing signs of structural instability, with visible cracks and noticeable bowing. They had witnessed other walls collapsing rapidly and wanted a reliable solution to prevent a similar situation in their home. To address the issue, we installed power braces, which are designed to support and stabilize walls. These braces extend from the floor to the ceiling, providing vertical support and preventing further bowing or movement. The power braces offer the advantage of gradually straightening the wall over time, restoring its stability and integrity.

By utilizing power braces, we provided the customers with a reliable and effective solution to reinforce their compromised wall. They can now have peace of mind knowing that their wall is supported and can be gradually straightened, ensuring the long-term stability and safety of their home.

As you can see, the step down and up is quite long, and the uneven concrete is a trip hazard. This concrete patio was lifted back to level.
