Crawl Space Support in Boss, MO
Crumbling concrete support blocks were endangering the floor and foundation of this home, and this homeowner needed a solution installed quickly. After performing a thorough inspection of the homes crawl space, we proposed our SmartJack system to restore stability to the home and lift the floors back to their original position.
Sagging Crawlspace in Boss, MO
The current supports for this home are cinder blocks that are breaking and offer little to no support as the floor began to fall down. They called Thrasher to come out to replace the old support structures with new. We used a smart jack 350 system to stabilize the home and lift the failing floor back up to its original position.
Waterproofing in Lakewood, CO
This customer bought their house a little over a year ago and the first time they experienced an abundant amount of rain, the basement completely flooded. The customer needed to cut all of the drywall and finishings and wants to make sure the area doesn't get ruined. The problem was that the home had no drainage system so the rain had nowhere to go. Our team installed a full perimeter waterproofing system with a lateral line to achieve maximum protection. On top of that, they installed a TripleSafe sump pump system to ensure the basement will stay dry all the time.
Crawlspace Repair in Wheat Ridge, CO
This customer has noticed moisture in the crawlspace and was concerned about the structural support post. They knew they wanted to sell the house within the next 7-8 years, so they wanted to get a start on fixing some issues now. After inspecting the house, we discovered the customer's foundation was built on caissons, or a watertight retaining structure. When it would rain, moisture would come in but would never pool, just making the soil damp. The dirt crawlspace was also a contributor to the poor indoor air quality.
We were able to help this homeowner with a crawlspace encapsulation, one SmartJack on one side of the beam on the shallow dirt shelf walls, and one SmartJack XT on the seven-foot drop in the soil/elevation changed in the crawlspace.
Stabilizing a Home in Denver, CO
We we able to meet this customer's needs by providing a detailed plan that fit their budget. The customer cared a lot about the property and wanted it to stay stable for a long time. There were two main problems: part of the house was sinking near the edge of the property, and one wall was sinking and moving sideways because of water pressure. We used push piers to lift the foundation up and keep it from sinking in the future. Our team made the necessary changes and the customer was so pleased that they gave us a five-star rating.
