When water gets filtered to the sump basin, the first pump is activated to dispose of the unwanted water. When water levels rise, which can occur during heavy rains or snow melting, the second pump is activated to ensure the sump basin doesn't overflow. Lastly, a battery-powered backup pump adds an extra layer of protection in the event of emergency such as a power outage. Additionally, our installation crew installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This eliminates moisture in the basement, promoting healthy air quality by removing mold spores and other toxins.
