Subsequently, a strip of porous, flexible foam is placed over the crack. The final step involves attaching an impermeable membrane to the wall on both sides of the foam strip. This robust treatment ensures that any water seeping through the crack in the future will discreetly travel down the wall and into the basement's perimeter drainage system. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant designed for joints and cracks, offering enduring flexibility and resilience against severe weather conditions. It was installed to the floor cracks to prevent water seepage.
