A homeowner in Westford, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for over a decade. Since they moved in they have been concerned with radon levels in their home. One of the homeowners works a lot in the basement and has decided to call EFS to install a Radon Mitigation System in their home. The homeowner met with our Design Specialist and they created a custom Radon Mitigation System for their home. 

Our installation team installed the system into the home and reduced the radon levels to below 4.0 pCi/L. 

Concerned about elevated radon levels in their Westford, MA home, a homeowner reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions after a radon test revealed concentrations of 4 picocuries per liter. This level is the threshold at which the Environmental Protection Agency advises the installation of a radon mitigation system. To provide a permanent solution, we installed our radon mitigation system, which included creating an extraction point through the foundation, routing PVC piping from the extraction point to the exterior, installing an active radon fan, and venting the radon above the roofline. Additionally, we used NexusPro to seal all basement cracks, further preventing radon gas infiltration. The homeowner immediately noticed a reduction in radon levels, ensuring their home is now permanently safeguarded from this hazardous gas.
