Sloping Floor Repair in Maynard, MA
A homeowner in Maynard, Massachusetts experienced sloping floors in their home. Concerned with the long-term stability of the floors, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our System Design Specialist, Tom Armano, recommended installing SmartJacks in the basement to stabilize the floor and support the home. Our installation crew chipped out concrete in the foundation floor to allow space for the galvanized steel plates to be installed. The posts were then attached to the steel plates and set up along the support beam. The SmartJack's design allows for superior support compared to Lally columns, especially the temporary ones that were previously installed in the basement. Once installed, the SmartJacks were cemented in place.
The SmartJacks were raised to eliminate sloping floors. The homeowner now has peace of mind that their floors are stable, and their home is supported.
