We recently assisted a homeowner in Galena, MD, who had been battling persistent water seepage in their basement every time there was heavy rainfall, leading to dampness, musty odors, and concerns about mold growth. Despite various personal attempts to address the issue, including using temporary sealants, the water continued to infiltrate through the foundation, leaving the basement unusable. Our team quickly assessed the situation and recommended the installation of our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to capture and redirect water away from the foundation, along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump to efficiently pump out any water collected. Recently, we completed a basement waterproofing project for a homeowner in Thorndale, PA, who contacted us after experiencing repeated issues with water collecting in their basement. Our solution was to install the SuperSump system. The SuperSump combines various advanced components, including a powerful Zoeller cast iron pump known for high-volume water removal, and an alert system designed to notify when water levels become concerning. The design also includes a robust, airtight lid that ensures safety and keeps out unwanted elements like insects and odors.

This heavy retaining wall in Downington, PA was bowing and tipping over, and we knew that the GeoLock Wall Anchors were the best solution for the problem. When the GeoLock system is installed, a hole is drilled into the bowing wall in predetermined intervals, depending on the number of anchors needed. One anchor plate is then attached to the interior and exterior sides of the wall, lining up with the predrilled hole, and one end of a 9-foot galvanized threaded rod is then inserted through the hole and anchor plates until the rod protrudes slightly out of the interior wall. An anchor bolt is then screwed onto that protruding end. The other end of the rod attaches to a heavy-duty earth anchor, which gets embedded into firm, stable soil away from the foundation. Once everything is in place, the anchor bolt is tightened, and the reverse pressure pulls the wall back toward its original position. At this point, the wall is stabilized and secure and no further adjustments are necessary. However, gradual tightening of the anchor bolt will continue to adjust the wall and over time, may even straighten it completely. This home in Elkton needed 10 anchors to repair the wall, and we were able to straighten it completely in one day. The GeoLock wall anchors are guaranteed for a period of 25 years.

Over time, the homeowner in Downingtown, PA, observed cracks and bowing in the walls of their garage, raising concerns about potential structural deterioration. After our team conducted a thorough inspection of the area, they assessed the cause of the weakened walls and determined the most effective repair solution. Our crew then installed the ultra-stabilizing PowerBrace Wall Repair System, successfully restoring the bowing and cracked wall to its original straightened position. The garage wall is now fully reinforced, providing the homeowner with complete peace of mind.
