Concrete Walkway Lifted in Belford, NJ

This homeowner in Belford, New Jersey noticed their concrete walkway was becoming unlevel and cracking. This happens because concrete is poured over poorly compacted soil. Over time, this soil settles and creates voids underneath. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jeff Pitek, provided an inspection and suggested they use polyurethane foam to lift the concrete. Our foreman, Ramon, used the PolyLevel Injection System to inject into the voids underneath the slab. This will bring the concrete to a lifted position within 20 minutes and will be safe to walk on.

Our PolyLevel foam was injected beneath the slabs that were experiencing settlement and the cracks were sealed up with NexusPro Sealant.
