Following repeated instances of basement dampness and water seepage following storms, this Elkton, MD homeowner realized that their existing waterproofing setup wasn’t doing the job. Our team performed a full inspection and quickly identified the root of the problem: poor drainage support and ineffective moisture control. With these issues in mind, we developed a customized waterproofing plan designed to keep the basement dry year-round.

The solution included the installation of our CleanSpace Wall Panels to stop water vapor from entering through the foundation walls and direct any seepage down to a newly installed SuperSump Premier Sump Pump. To ensure the system remains functional even during freezing conditions, we added our IceGuard Discharge Line, which provides an alternative exit path for water if the discharge line freezes. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep humidity levels low and prevent mold and mildew growth.

With these advanced systems working together, this homeowner now has a clean, dry, and protected basement, and peace of mind that their home is safeguarded from future water intrusion!

For this basement waterproofing project, we installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Waterguard around the perimeter of the basement, a SuperSump Pump with Battery Backup, and a SaniDry Dehumidifier. 

The CleanSpace Vapor barrier will direct any water coming in through the walls, down to the WaterGuard, which is then directed over to the SuperSump to be pumped out of the basement.

Cinderblock walls had "stair cracks", signs of mold, and water intrusion. To correct this issue, we installed Carbon Armour Strips that will stabilize the cracked walls, we did a mold remediation treatment, installed 2 SuperSump Pumps, Waterguard, and a CleanSpace vapor Barrier. 

This customer reached out regarding the sump pump constantly running and not being able to keep up with the amount of water coming in. We removed the old pump and installed our TripleSafe sump pump, which adjusts to your pumping requirements. The TripleSafe is a three-pump system and has a battery backup to ensure that the basement never floods, even when the power goes out. It has an airtight removable lid that helps reduce the amount of noise than you average sump pump.
