After struggling with ongoing water intrusion in their Newark, DE basement, this homeowner began to notice increasingly damp and worn down conditions. As this issue persisted, the homeowner started to worry about potential structural decay and mold-growth, which led them to seek out a lasting and professional solution from Quality 1st. 

Once our team conducted an extensive inspection on the basement, we were able to determine the source of the water seepage, which turned out to be the result of improper drainage support in the form of an old sump pump that could no longer handle the high capacity of moisture attempting to enter the space. 

Luckily, our team was successfully able to devise a completely dynamic and customized waterproofing approach that involved the installation of our high-performance SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System. By installing our SuperSump Premier, we ultimately prevent further moisture-related issues, while also delivering the homeowner with an advanced drainage system that will ensure this basement remains dry and healthy for many years ahead!

For this customer's project, we installed 2 Egress windows with WellDucts. One egress was a 27x45 In-Swing Egress Window and the other a 60x48 Slider Egress Window. 

For this customer, we installed our SuperSump to replace the old sump pump in the basement. Our SuperSump system is able to pump out 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of the basement. For protection, we put an optional backup battery in case of any circuit trip, power outage or pump failure.

This owner reached out regarding a split-level home and the dirt crawl space with high moisture that was beginning to have a mildew smell. We installed our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system, which lies on top of the CleanSpace Drainage Matting to prevent evaporation from the ground spoil up into the space. To prevent moisture related problems, by installing this system, the space will become clean, dry and a place where mold can't grow.  

At this home on the bottom of the stairwell door would get water build up to the point of wood rot. To prevent any build-up, we installed our TrenchDrain sub-floor drainage system that effectively captures the surface water from the doorway, then it flows down to the sump system. The heavy-duty drain system is placed sub-level, preventing any tripping hazard, and it also has a grated cover that can be easily removed for cleaning, which prevents corrosion and moisture damage.
